Signs of spring

Yesterday I went out into the garden and was surprised to see tulips coming up (not the flowers, just the stems). It still seems far too soon, even though we have been enjoying some lovely weather in the 30s.

I do look forward to spring the most though. Some of my favorite flowers bloom in the spring. For example, these daffodils.

Seed catalogs have been arriving in the mail too. Fingers crossed that the old groundhog was right about an early spring!
