I’ve just joined the fun of the Grow Write Guild, run by Gayla Trail. To learn more, visit here. I’m a bit late to the game, as this is prompt #28, but here we go!
There have been many times when I have dreamed of gardening in a different climate. To be honest, we have a somewhat short growing season. This year I am trying my hand once again at growing some luffas, but I worry that once again, the season will be cut short thanks to an October snow storm.
Mainly, I would love to grow in a warmer climate. Not just warmer though, I don’t want to try gardening in a climate that is more desert than we are. I want tropical. Think pineapples, bananas, and flowers that I can only dream about!
When I daydream about my tropical garden what I love the most about it is that I can spend time there year round. It’s always warm, and something is always growing. No freezing ground, no “annuals”, just beautiful greens, and colorful blooms.
Truly it would be a grass is greener situation, because it would never be winter! It would also be the ideal place to hang my hammock.
