Clever storage ideas.

Our home is small, and sadly, it wasn’t really designed with a lot of storage in mind. It’s not the worst (we do have a pantry and a walk in closet), but it’s not the best it could be. We often have a hard time finding places to keep things. Because of this, I am always looking for clever storage ideas.

This is genius! Our stairs are nothing like the photo above, but using the landing space as storage is such a good idea. I love how they looked for an unused space and created something useful from it.

I’m dreaming of redoing our closet, right now even though it is a walk in we only have very basic rods and shelves. This is on the wishlist and would open up space in other parts of our room:

And last for today, a place to store your bins. We have a tall enough garage to do something like this! Imagine all the space in your basement that would open up using the unused space in your garage instead. Smart!

What clever ideas have you come up with in your home?

    Hi There

Hope you are well? I know that running a blog can be time consuming (I run my own fashion one!) but I have some content that may be of interest to your readers from a DIY point of view.

Please find below the latest release from my new Warwickshire based client, UK Oak Doors. This is all about the treatex oil calculator which they have launched to help those into DIY! I can also give you some coding to host the calculator on your own site/blog

UK Oak Doors To Launch Live Treatex Oil Calculator
Warwickshire based UK Oak Doors is pleased to announce its partnership with Treatex Hardwax Oils, and is launching a brand new oil coverage calculator to celebrate, making it even easier to judge how much oil is needed for a particular project.
The company which specialises in the production of solid oak doors spent many months trialling many different hardwax oils, and found Treatex to be one of the best oils on the market.
A spokesperson for UK Oak Doors said: “We are extremely excited about the official launch of the Treatex Oil Coverage Calculator. The new onsite tool will make it even easier to judge how much oil is needed for a particular project, reducing waste and saving you the customer money!”
Treatex Hardwax Oil preserves and enhances the appearance of all types of internal joinery and is manufactured on a base of natural and sustainable raw materials including: linseed oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, carnauba wax and candelilla wax.
Being a mix of oil and wax, the oil will soak into the wood enhancing the grain, it is also very durable, quick drying and recommended for those with dust allergies.
A spokesperson for UK Oak Doors added: “The Treatex range has a higher wax content than most oils on the market . The wax will fill up the grain on the door providing a very smooth finish, whilst slowing down the moisture transfer between the wood and the atmosphere.”
