I love her suggestion and I was also going to suggest something along the same lines. A visit to Ikea perhaps? I dream of having a room like yours to house all the things that have no other place to go in an orderly fashion. Crafts, papergoods, sewing stuff, games, photos and so much more. Ikea (and other places) has some amazing looking affordable storage that could not only make this room so useable, but pleasing to the eye as well.
I envy you!!!
Good luck!

How cool Michele! I wish I could see what your friends room looks like. I think that when we have more time and money to build some things for a closet, we might do that. For now I am going to embrace the storage, and create a craft area.

Actually, friend of ours did just that. They had this room, is was to small for a bedroom and they didn't need a bedroom but a dressing/laundry room. They ran from the ceiling to the floor, large cabinets with rods for handing clothes items. They had cabinets for folded items. The ironing board and all misc. things were in this room in these cabinets. The cabinets came off the self from chain diy center. The room was organized and free of clutter. Bonus!
