We are pretty excited around here. Why? We are going to update our kitchen counter tops!! Of course this means that we get to put on our thinking caps and make some design choices. What I want to ask you is, how do you address the backsplash in your home? Do you have one? Is it the same material as your counter? Did you put a different material for the backsplash, such as tile? Or did you just leave it as wall (seen this a lot lately in magazines)?
Do tell, dear readers! We are going to have to remove what we have now, and do something new (we have some ideas), but we want to hear what you think first!

Congrats! I literally had my new granite put in yesterday (I wrote a lot about why I went with it on my blog)!!
I’m going with a tile backsplash instead of granite because I don’t think the look is worth the price (actually, I don’t really like the look all that much). I’m doing tile simply because I think it will hold up the best over time compared to a bare wall.
