Remember my small office from this post? Well, it’s a room that needs to serve many purposes. First of all, it’s really the birds room. That’s right, our bird has her own room. Secondly it’s my office.

It’s a small space, and sadly, most of it is already filled to the brim. However, I am trying to figure out a way to add in a work surface so I can do scrap-booking or sewing in the room. My crafting area used to be in the laundry room, which has been talked about a lot here lately (as we try to determine if it will be a guest room or not). The truth is, the ideal space for my hobbies would be in my office for many reasons.

First off, my office is in a warmer room, the laundry is the coldest room in the house. Even when it was set up as a craft area it rarely got used because of this fact. Secondly, the laundry room is off of the family room, which is often used by my husband to watch “his shows” (the ones I don’t like), and so it’s not the most convenient room to use either. Which makes my office the ideal space for all these things.

The trick will be finding a way, with no budget at all, to create a space in the small room to set up the craft table again. Stay tuned… now to see what happens in two rooms.
