Just in time for haunting the halls of our home, the kind folks over at FLOR sent me this amazing rug from Martha Stewart for review. It’s called Arachnophobia!
First of all, I have to say that I love FLOR products, so I was pretty sure that I was going to love this Halloween rug. It did not disappoint one bit. Not only does it look and feel great, but the modular tiles make it so easy to customize for any space. For example, the rug is actually very large, as seen in the photo from their website below:
However, we didn’t have one large space to lay out the rug as a whole (it’s 5×7), so instead I was able to break the tiles up into three smaller rugs. The largest of the rugs is shown in the photo in our kitchen. There is also a small, two tile rug near the door into the kitchen, as well as a four tile rug in our entry way. I love how quickly a rug can be made out of the modular tiles, and of course, being able to spread the spookiness through the house was a bonus!
The tiles are well made, durable, and soft to stand on. We also love that they are eco-friendly, FLOR products are made with renewable and recycled content and are recyclable! It’s so nice to know that if we ever did ruin one of our FLOR tiles we could recycle it. That is another benefit that we like about the modular tiles, they are easily replaceable if one gets stained or otherwise ruined. Unlike regular carpet, you can just pop out the ruined tile and replace it with a new one.
We loved how quickly our FLOR was shipped as well, so if you too want to decorate your floor with a spiderweb (or even skulls), there is still time to get a rug before Halloween!

I’ve been eyeing that rug for a while- it looks so cute in your space! I bet it’s also super easy to store away after Halloween.
