There are so very many blogs, websites, and of course, television shows about home design. Everyone talks about their favorite colors, styles, and their big plans for making their home better. Why? Because home design matters!
It matters because it’s your home! It’s the place where you spend most of your time and energy; a safe haven from the stress and worries of the day. At least, that’s how it should be, and having a home that is designed well (functional and beautiful) is a big part of making that happen. And with so many varied ways of expressing beauty, it’s important to stay true to what you like most and what makes you the happiest, not just what magazines and blogs say is “in style” at the moment. After all, it is your home, and you have to live there.
But that’s what we think is the most exciting part, and our biggest hope for our blog. To help people make their home, no matter how big or small, a place that they enjoy spending time in. Hopefully as we share what we are doing in our spaces, and through sharing what inspires us, something will tickle your fancy too!
