From the outside.

We love our house, but the style of our home (4 level split) isn’t the most charming style in the world. Not that our home looks bad from the outside, we have done a lot to improve it… but there are houses that look amazing from the outside. So amazing that they make you want to see what it’s like on the inside!

Here are a few of the homes that we love to gawk at, homes our house dreams of looking like when it grows up. Homes that have charm and style, and didn’t come from a cookie cutter.

In the age of McMansions where everything looks the same even when you pay a high price, it’s nice to see that some people are still building homes that have some distinction from one another. In our neighborhood, we live across the street from ourselves (although our home has better colors, the house across the street is the exact same house). We aren’t the only ones in our neighborhood that share house plans with the house across from them.

We have some ideas of how to change the look of our home on the outside (the structure, we have done a lot to the landscape)… but the budget isn’t there yet. Gratefully the inside is gorgeous and getting better all the time. What about your home? Does it have a lot of curb appeal? Does the inside match the outside, or is one much better than the other?
